It was the only awkward space in the house, removing the wall separating the hallway, pushing the refrigerator into the closet behind, and moving the range off the end has completely transformed the space to being consistent with the rest of the house.  

I am sure that the long term positive effect you had on them was probably even greater then the transformation of the condo!

So then I get a call from an electrical contractor stating that the unit next door is having some issues with their power and they have located that the problem is under my deck, and they will need to remove boards, dig it up, and do a repair.However, a couple of small twists in the story make me nervous.One is that apparently the homeowners are responsible for the maintenance of the power line from from the transformer, so it’s not the association with deeper pockets who is on the hook, its the nieghbor .

Typically A+ properties are A+ because they are new construction or because another investor has put the capital into transforming them. 

--GOAL--1) Transform my monthly housing expense to $0 or into an income2) Begin investing in property..

This assumes overhead power and the pole is close enough to a transformer to even get the power there.

Whats amazing is that there is no more than $180 in materials for this fireplace that will transform the focal point of this living room into this decade! 

This is area is transforming at break-neck speed, and this home is in a quiet neighborhood across from an elementary school.
