I have lenders who will lend in Colorado that do single, double, and triple wides.. heck, they even do Tiny Homes and Shipping Container homes, but there are many restrictions. 

I  see all this stuff about tiny homes and the temporary housing for the homeless.

North Carolina is another Hot spot my team just left a huge convention where majority of the vendors were talking about the net wave of REI with Tiny Homes and Modulars.

Our plan currently is to get a piece of unrestricted land with utilities on it and put a tiny home on it and Airbnb it.

My FLA new builds are starters at 270 to 300k and we are still selling those in a matter of days before they are done.. we start to market about a month before CO and again Tiny sampling i only have 5 going but two are in the can ..

I won in each instance.Eventually, The lender Ocwen, and the Title Company Fidelity National (I’m sure you are familiar with both) sent several legal experts and lawyers to court for tiny, little, me.

Again, maybe this is a disconnect between tiny NYC condos in the hotel district and your typical vacation rental, but if you rent a 4br Marriott Vacation house in Hawaii you are expected to do your dishes. 

Insurance is kind of like cotton candy, it looks good until you want it then it compresses to a tiny unrecognizable blob.

It’s great employers largely bailed on pensions (also free money…) in exchange for matching a tiny percentage of what employees are already saving for themselves.

Pretty much anyone knows somebody who has done it and only a super tiny minority has had something bad happen to them, like everywhere else as you suggested.
