Back in the day, we did that at national networking events like Ultimate Partnering, various Real Estate Guys events, Michael Blank, The Best Ever Conference, and so on.

Instead of getting the little "working spinning circle", I have to scroll down thru a lot of "blank page-the adds on the right show up, but no posts".  

You've merely provided a starting value and an ending value, so there's no reason to believe that the house has been shielded from anything -- only that it's value has increased 4.5% on an annualized basis over 30 years.Again, I think you don't quite understand the context through which you're making your assumptions, and are filling in the blanks in the data with pure speculation.
