As @Matthew Paul has said it is a low pressure wash that they do, make sure no one is going to crank a high pressure wash machine on your roof. 

If you do come across a unit smoked in, you can buy an ozone machine on Amazon for about 150 and that will help get rid of the smoke.  

@Danny LambertAppreciate you posting that article; interesting read, but not for the titled reasonI by no means am an expert in this field, but I do have some background and this author does what most do and conflate AI, Machine Learning, Big Data ect, while they are all different in important ways. 

You can also check the load size settings in the machine and see if it is set on oversize load.

They want at least all new appliances including wash machine and drier.

My thoughts are diatomaceous earth, ozone machine and full tent as for termite treatment.

Would one of those white noise machines help?

Of course a laundry room or some coin laundry machines in the facility would be nice, but just depending on location and proximity to laundromats, you may be able to get away without have them on site.
