Use a stock reply telling them the open house time.I have ignored obvious scams and on one occasion a previous tenant but if they are persistent you have to deal with it and I usually try to reply.

If I owned something bigger than a four-plex and lived in it or worked on it on occasion, I would definitely pretend I was just a tenant or a contractor on payroll when I showed up to fix things or supervise work being done.
