You are likely talking to a lender(s) that have overlays, or tightened guidelines due to covid. 

Some have just added additional fees or have tightened up their guidelines so it can be a bit tougher to get one done. 

I heard that Sarasota county may tighten regulations on STRs in the future but I am not sure if this is true
