I currently live in a tiny town Grande Cache, Alberta where I manage an Environmental Contracting company working with First Nations, Oil, Gas, Forestry, Government and all the rest.My real estate experience is fresh at best but I am in a fantastic position to start with a nice piggy bank of life savings in the 10's of thousands, no debt, dual income with my partner and a fairly cheap rental situation at the moment.We have a wonderful opportunity with some land my partner was given on the Ontario, Quebec border aswell as some fantastic waterfront lots we have been looking to buy on West Coast Vancouver Island.

hey everyone , my name is Joy , i am a new Real Estate Investor in Los Angeles , California . i am here to learn and network . i have teamed up with my girlfriend who is a real estate agent at Keller Williams in downt town los angeles and with my friend casey who is in finance. i currently work full time as a project manager for the environmental side of oil and gas . we are planning to wholesale houses and have kicked off a marketing campaign. my heart is in flipping houses and i feel that i will be able to choose the best deals through the wholesaling side . my grandmother flipped homes for about 15 years , i lived with her and was able to live that experience as well as learn construction.

The properties will be structurally sound, a good location, and a good surrounding market but are poorly managed that are in need of minor cosmetic repairs such as, out dated inefficient kitchens, bathrooms, appliances, old windows, old inefficient lights, high expenses, old non-separate metered heating and cooling units, along with ugly curb appeal/landscaping.We will not purchase commercial properties that have the following issues:-A structural problem (interior bearing walls, foundation & exterior walls)- A significant environmental issue (underground leaking tanks or mold)-A neighborhood that has an oversupply of commercial properties and have a vacant rate of more than 15%.
