Anything on calendar?

I just added them to my calendar.

I tried to contact them as a new client, and the calendar to set up the call is completely defunct. 

I'm assuming that they take the airbnb data and guesstimate on the periods of my calendar that are either blocked or are homeaway bookings?

When you have a date in the calendar and you can send them a handful of properties to show you, they'll likely start taking you much more seriously.

Book it a few months, generate some cash flow, then block the calendar in a slower month like May to redecorate further.

There is one house in CG that has a really nice looking Frozen room that looks like a custom built theme room, but when you really look at it you can tell they just put together a bunch of stuff you can buy off the shelf in a big way and it worked really well, and looking at their calendar it seems to rent pretty well.

As of right now I am well booked about 10 weeks out, but yesterday I went through my calendar and dropped the price by $15-20 during the odd 2-3 nights windows between longer stays.

I think you might be stuck with Vacasa thru October but go ahead and block your remaining calendar on Vacasa to ensure you don’t get any more bookings there!
