my father is a retired real estate broker in Brooklyn New York.  

I see you are in Brooklyn and there is actually a real estate networking event next week that my friend @Shawn Ackerman is hosting.  

Ever since becoming a licensed agent, i mistakenly shifted my focus from to primarily working with investors to leasing apartments in Brooklyn because i needed to make money fast and rentals are quickest way to make money in real estate as opposed to sales which something takes up to three or so months until a payout is received.

I am not sure you can do that affectively in Brooklyn.

Hi am a newbie investor living in Brooklyn NY where something next to zero available in the area (the mediam value is more in the 850,000 range!)

I'm from Brooklyn originally and know where Oneonta is on a map, but have never been there. 

It seems like it would only work in the outer boroughs like the Bronx or maybe even Brooklyn but I would still prefer to live closer to my office which is in midtown.
