I also received an unsolicited list of single families from the Agent which I could care less about (I'm looking for Multi Families as expressed initially with the Agent), and was told that the Agent will setting up appointments for my "listed properties" but I have not received any APODs, I don't feel I have enough information to crunch numbers ahead of time and further prioritize my list, I have 2 days until I fly to the area of interest.

Group projects are hard :) Working to collaborate, decide who is doing what, and how to work together can be a struggle with different personality types.

In the past I have had in-house maintenance staff that could easily be re-prioritized to solve many issues very quickly, but using contractors slows the process down considerably.

Because this is my first-time investment, should I prioritize Condo/Apartments over SFR to minimize unforeseen expenses? 

I would definitely recommend prioritizing the new bigger pockets book "Real Estate by the Numbers" by J Scott and Dave Meyer if you are seriously looking at getting started within the next year or so.Making this jump is super scary and can be stressful but it will be worth it if you put the work in!
