Paying someone to apply for credit cards (or just to recommend them) isn't hustle.Let's say you get the $50K in credit card debt (effectively maxing you out) and there's one little hiccup with the flip, tenant, HVAC dies unexpectedly?

The ad stated that a "successful real estate investor" was looking for a hand full of "mentees" to learn his strategy and work alongside of him.  

I'm doing this alongside school and my current part-time job.

I've done my due diligence on both properties (along-side my REA), and have used the BP fix and flip calculators.

Once I received my first few 5 star reviews and I gained some confidence that my listing was not only desirable but sufficient and enjoyable during the stay I moved away from smart pricing and have almost doubled the nightly rate with no hiccups.

Although there were some hiccups early on (vacancies and necessary interior renovations etc.) we were able to stabilize the building within a few months of moving in.

While earning your degree in business, spend time thinking about how the information your professor is presenting would apply to real estate alongside any case studies that you are using in class.

Be sure that you are prepared to answer the "what value can you add" or "what do you bring to the table" question.I think it is a great idea to work along side someone who is experienced.

@Jonathan Escobar Hello Jonathan, Being a college student myself I understand what you’re talking about when you explain your majors etc. but I would like to move past that.You say that it’s your dream to become a dentist along side your brother and to open up a practice with him yet at the same time you’re saying you want to be a real estate investor.
