With the 08 bubble they just put our “recovery” on a credit card in order to avoid the pain of another Great Depression.

Go talk to multi-multi millionaire athletes, and you will see a huge number of them that dropped out for NBA or NFL riches go back and finish their degrees, because they admit how it always bothered them that they were so close to such a significant achievement and never got it done. 

The 8 hour sleeping period is not appropriate for most people and it was actually "invented" during the industrial revolution when they decided to divide the day into thirds: one for work, one for play, and one for sleep.Sleeping is not entirely understood but there is a lot of research on it and it is widely believed that it helps with learning and physical recovery.

Great idea for a thread.Currently splitting time as an inside salesperson / production coordinator.Also am an endurance athlete specializing in triathlon and marathon.  

I will share that after you surpass 60+ in this field you become burned out, and it takes you a few days to recover. I

It's proven(you should try it) not to mention the recovery you need to by sleeping.

But, it would have wiped the slate clean so to speak, and paved the way for a true recovery.

It's unfair that I don't have LeBron's athletic ability, Jimmy Page's guitar playing skills or Brad Pitt's looks.

The greatest value of that early investing/saving is that it provided me the means to jump in somewhat aggressive during the recovery from the great recession.
