They don't know the original source, and it has been empty for 3 years.It's a nice house, still has some of the Anderson window stickers on the upstairs windows, but the area only sells in the area of 115K, with a purchase price around 40K.I'm guessing a full drywall tear out along with the insulation if needed, treatment by a mold remediation company with a certificate at completion, and then put it back together.

But, once we accounted for 6 old furnaces and A/C units, 3 roofs at about 35% life remaining (at best), one duplex needing treatment for termites (they were active with a tunnel on the foundation), we decided the return was not worth the risk.
