You have to review the  leases and amendments and see if the tenant has merit with the compliant from a marginal current owner landlord or they are just trying to get free stuff out of you.You really need an commercial attorney at the least if you have not bought a retail property before.

So we weren't happy, either.After ten days of waiting, whoever was on the other end of this deal finally signed the necessary papers and the deal closed.Next time, if they want $100/day for delay of closing we'll amend the contract so that it goes both ways.
