All remaining as is, I see the shift in build designs pressing on multi-generational housing much like home offices became all but standard design now.

People upset about loading their own dirty dishes into a dishwasher and pressing start before they leave is bizarre to me.

I would caution you that the press is a source but not the best source on an accurate record.  

And when it's in the hands of few, who have a pressing requirement to post ever bigger better profits quarter after quarter, exporting the wealth created....

At higher strata higher interest rates consume purchasing power, and at lower strata due to buyers lowered capacity to purchase more are pressed into lower price points, driving up demand, as well as shifting buyers into delayed purchase ability better known as "renting".    

As die from those 2, break out your magic wands because that's about what it would take as you'd have to LOWER the cost of labor and/or materials by about 30%, to get cost of replacement units down low enough to press pricing down.
