If you have a 3-4 bedroom house you are in business especially if you're near the venue.

Is this a good venue?

I am looking for vacant land to buy with seller financing to start an outdoor wedding venue.

For me and the kind of rentals I have it is absolutely not the right venue to market.

thanks for the input everyone, @rush wall, your absolutely right, we are in the process of getting financing set up first and pinpointing areas wed like to target.

Then we got engaged and she moved in with me. then we spent a year and a half planning and saving for our wedding.

So, my question is this: would it be wise, if we could find the right deal, to buy a single-family, fixer-upper a few months before the wedding, fix it up, then live in it till December, at which time we'd hand it over to a property management company for the year we go abroad and collect a small income from the rent.

There is a good meetup in Columbia, MD the third Weds of the month and MAREIA in Ownings Mills has lots of regular meetings.
