Since this is an ongoing issue I started asking them if they give permission to enter the property to make the necessary repair and I'll use my key and they even agreed to that for todays repair but then we went there today to make the necessary repairs and we have an inspection coming up in three days and these repairs need to be completedand they had the doors locked from the inside with some type of security bolt so we couldn't enter even with our key how would you guys proceed to resolve this in the future do you think I should put some type of clause in my lease where it states if the tenant is not there at the scheduled appointment time they pay a certain fee for a missed appointment but going forward I don't know if they're going to want to sign this document and they are Section 8 tenants but I have to check with housing authority as well on that. any advice I would greatly appreciate it thank you so much you guys helped me so much
