As a vacationer everyone hates resort fees anywhere they stay.

This means not only are they fully legal and you will never have to worry about changing regulations, but many communities also have a full slate of resort amenities (clubhouse, restaurant, pool, playgrounds, lazy river etc....) that Disney vacationers will want.

Also will update the bathrooms and the entire property to a “beachy” theme to attract vacationers.

Drunk vacationers drown.

STR (for work travelers or vacationers), executive rental, vouchers, etc. 

He rents peoples homes cheap, then makes money renting them out as short-term rentals to vacationers, traveling nurses, or whatever he can make a buck on.I recommend you pass.

Some of it depends on your "niche" for who you are marketing it too....If its a STR/MTR based more on vacationers etc that will be multiple families, kids etc staying in the area, then you may be shooting for a "resort" feel..... entertainment at the unit and space for kids.... then the game room and bunk beds/pullouts is the way to go.If this is more of a hotel/motel market....not a "resort" feel..... 

Also in the summertime, there will be vacationers and high school students visiting from out of town. 

Do the vacationers in Destin primarily fly or drive there?

I haven't seen too many lists that suggest West Palm is a great investment opportunity, but the city has a lot to offer and they are promoting to the vacationers.
