I do intend to stay close to home - but home provides only annual opportunities and I’m looking for year round possibilities with tax deed properties. 

These areas are experiencing significant development and population growth, driven by families and professionals seeking more affordable housing while staying close to the job hubs in Plano, Frisco, and even parts of North Dallas.

This allows many groups (I know the crew at Easy Street can do this) even close a loan in a week or less.They'll stay off of your personal credit, while not impacting your personal debt to income which is valuable as you start to scale.

It often takes new organizations similarly long times to get that sort of information.

@Scott Trench - have you considered investing in short term rentals, materially participating, and having the average stay be less than 7 days?
