One was conventional financing and the other was a portfolio loan from a local bank here in Hawaii, I also did a lot of research into DSCR loans during my search.I'm also an agent here on Oahu but focus mainly on Property Management, at the brokerage we manage roughly 50 units that are a mix of STR, MTR, and LTR's. 

Did you work with any real estate professionals (agents, lenders, etc.) that you'd recommend to others?

A laundromat with 3 or more machines down is a bad reputation to have. 

I do know that is something different than STR insurance.Thanks for letting me know that so when I call all the insurers I can get accurate info.I don't think your agent knows what they are talking about or they don't have the correct info.I am not against crazy ideas, but this isn't that.
