They were heated either by hot water boilers and radiators (a good sign) or by what are called gravity furnaces (a bad sign). 

And when one is joyful, their whole being radiates, from the inside out.This is what I witness in Peloton instructors.

I went and bought my tenants a couple of radiator heaters in the meantime to keep them warm...So that leaves me with these questions:1) how do I thaw these pipes to get my tenants heat ASAP?

Within 2 minutes of her signing the lease, I received a text saying that the radiator wasn't working in the living room (which is in an open space with the kitchen, where there is another radiator).

I know radiators with a boiler are considered more efficient, but removing them and their piping would enhance the usability of such a small space.

I’m using boiler to mean the thing that sends steam to the radiators.

The only thing I did was paint throughout the house, add new radiator covers, update the appliances, and add a new full-size washer and dryer.

I’m looking at investing in a home with radiant heat with the old radiators on the floors.

Almost reminds me of radiator sealer.
