This eviction is my first time on this route with a note, and am open to suggestions from people who have taken this road before.I've coordinated with a business that will provide a locksmith and will put them in contact with the sheriff in order for the locksmith to meet at the same time.I'm debating on whether to offer $500 to $1,000 through my attorney to the occupant, the former borrower, to remove all furniture and personal belongings and not damage / vandalize the house.I will have people there to move out the furniture to the sidewalk if the occupant leaves the house a mess.I will have people there to secure the property against squatters.I will have an appraiser there to appraise the inside of the house.Finally, I will have buyers there to look inside and make me an offer.   

My mom can go to Home Depot to rekey something, then take a photo of that receipt and attach it to one of my rentals and I can see it on my dashboard and financial reports. 

My question is that do we need to bring a professional locksmith and movers once we get the green light from Constable ?

You may need a locksmith and if there's any concern about safety, have a deputy present.

If they didn't turn in their keys, I'd charge the three of them for re-keying the locks and making copies.

Is it easier to rekey the locks or just put new lock sets in.

A local locksmith can do it for you, or I highly recommend Landlord Locks.

Because of the situation (her friend who we talked to when we were there said she was depressed as her husband left her and she has a small kid), we left a note and will be phoning the police tomorrow for a welfare check and then will have a locksmith meet us on Thursday to rekey the lock (giving her notice and telling her when, so we aren't locking her out, but we can't get in). 

However, we prefer to not give a code they can use over and over to everyone just incase the key does go missing & then i have to rekey the entire place.
