If not, you probably want to do some soil testings just to make sure there was no leakage. 1970 is just about the time period when this was more of a problem, and I fully agree with @Philip Tretola, I would always heir on the side of caution when the risk is high and the cost is minimal comparatively.

FYI...if your investors are investing directly with the sponsors, they will only need your (introduction) services the first time with each sponsor and you will have investor leakage in future deals, particularly with large dollar investors.
