I am an out-of-state investor living 1500 miles away from three properties that I am currently renovating to rent or to flip. 

Between working around the renovation materials to the 35 minute commute to the first two units I’m having serious second thoughts about this.

I renovated the home while 3 of my friends lived with me and paid my mortgage.

House hack another property with a low down payment loan and use the remainder or the proceeds to either renovate or purchase another investment property?  

I would suggest going to independent landlords and staying away from larger apartment complexes.

it was renovated from the studs up in 2019!

I would love to see the after renovation pictures.

My accountant wants me to start doing this in the event of an audit being I’m starting larger projects and will be implementing cost segregation Thanks
