Hello,My name is Aaron, my brother & I have been renovating my Grandma’s house and are now at the point of Sale.Days before, a homeless man set up shop a few houses up from ours.Setting: Neighborhood In SE, DC.

In California, it's given as a direct payment for rent to ensure Tenant does not Spend it and go homeless.

The heat in the summer gets to over 110° for several weeks (not fun for a mailman to be working in unfortunately)There is a climbing homeless population in our town and rates of crime are not the greatest, but also not the worst.

I must say that there was a time many years ago when I was struggling to rent a place and it was someone's ability to offer me housing that saved me from homelessness.

They are letting the local homeless and transients stay and overrun the complex. 

Specific to housing, I see a huge homeless population coming.
