Long story short: we had a deal, he stood me up at the settlement table due to depression, his lawyer filed bankrupTcy next day, assets were frozen for 8 months, foreclosure, sheriff's sale, Fannie Mae bought from bank.I know this property intimately.

Come to find out, the basement door actually was torn off of 2/3 hinges and is frozen wide open, so zero degree wind is whipping into the basement, clearly causing the pipes to freeze.Now, I'm gonna fix them, no issue (good tenant with a good relationship), but it occurred to me that I'm not entirely sure where the liability lies on this one.Clearly, the fact that he didn't accurately report to me the status of the basement door was the reason the pipes froze, but I'm not totally clear on whether or not that has bearing here.Thoughts?

One has a $60/yr fee, the other doesn't have any fee because of a promotion they were running.Heloc would be far to risky those are the first instruments that are frozen.. unless you get one now and then ever green it right away. but then whats the point..

Its the 203k loan option product that is frozen because of COVID-19.You need to look at the various loan products and find the best one for you...As in investor, you shouldn't be worried so much as getting the sellers "top dollar."

@Daniel Sisto  its has more to do with the following1. from 08 to 2010  investor loans were frozen very very hard to get so investors if they wanted to buy had to pay cash.. there was really no financing options during those years and that skewed the market 2.

So it is possible for money to be frozen and when you do that you lock everything and it makes it harder to unlock it to start new accounts in some areas.
