When I started the first building it was damn near impossible to find a framer.

Out of my experience, it depends on your framer.

CAN your framer run 2 or 3 crews same with your sider or painter etc. 

Framers do not buy lumber, tyvek or tape.

We have tile guys, framers, foundation , etc.

It seems to me that sometimes there were modifiactions made on site, perhaps a few bucks to the framers, so they would create a bump out for the kitchen.Even today, when you build new construction, the city requires 5 full sets of paper prints to review and approve; they get rubber stamped and I believe archived, but I don't know how long they keep them. 

I know lots of guys in the industry, particularity dirt guys, framers, form guys, the ones whose jobs stop when it snows, up in the North East who make a killing.

And if the framers used a level and did the job right then you'll find the job of tiling that much easier

For the excavator and framer, this is a long time to wait, however these subs are guaranteed additional homes to build one right after another.

Due to timing constraints on the tenant side, we decided to wait until after the new year to get it fixed.Turns out that the bowed wall was caused by the water supply line coming in too close to the wall so the framer had to push out the frame as much as he could to avoid the supply line.
