I agree with @Matthew Crivelli, look for the states that are more republican than democrat and you’ll typically find they are the more landlord friendly states.

I expect a return to quantitative easing in 2024 to support whatever political regime (Democrat or Republican) is needing to look good.  

Apparently a deal has been struck with Democrat votes only that will do away with carried interest or promote for development / JV / investment / etc. and now be taxed as regular income.What are your thoughts on work arounds?

NYC is a horrific place for LLs and there is a contingent of DSA (Democratic Socialists of America) politicians that are trying to make it even worse, end goal being no private property.
