Also, you should be charging/paying at least 1 thing per month on each card (a pair of socks, pack of gum, whatever) so that your payment history can improve your score over time.

What I've considered doing is joint venturing with an investor to cover the down payment and liquidity requirements, paired with a finance company to lower the initial amount of cash the investor is fronting, which i think is what I'm going to do in the end
