The difference being the A areas shot up from 900 a month in rent to 1300 and the value of the house almost tripled from the purchase price but they went all in at the bottom of the recovery when most people were scared to do anything.So please any investors looking at these type of properties be very,very careful in what you buy and who you are looking to associate with.I have seen over the past decade investors on this site buy this stuff and say they will be the one where everything goes right and then it's crickets and you never hear from them again posting on this site.

Another agent contacted me and offered to the same - I asked him to send me a link to an example of a Facebook or Instagram ad of one of his properties and got crickets.

I had an inquiry that fell through and other than that crickets after almost a month. on the other hand, a Craigslist ad got a response for someone who wants it for up to several months on her Dad's property.

Uh Oh, crickets chirping for the only replies.  

First he started complaining about crickets OUTSIDE the apartment that didn't let him sleep and a wandering opossum he spotted outside one night.

You are probably getting crickets here as not many buildings allow STR at all in South Florida.

Of course, we have the other kind of unit as well - where you put out an advertisement only to hear crickets.  

If you hear crickets, could be why they're selling instead of filling.
