I am an auditor who generally works 11pm - 7am which leaves me the daytime to do the other stuff RE that interests me.I mainly stay busy with the tax sale properties but as I am able to find them and hold on to them past the reclaimation period I then take my time in fixing them up for resale.This all started about 4 years ago so I am just now beginning to have some properties that are about ready to resell.

Personally, I use the county auditor's site to gain the taxable value of the property, pull records on past sales history of the property through events like foreclosures, look at recent comps, and gain insight from a licensed realtor.
