They only thing put in the covenants about parking is that no motor vehicles may be parked or kept on the street for overnight parking. 

Wisconsin just changed the law recently stating that we can throw away, sell, burn, donate, do whatever we want with the vast majority of items left behind (minus motor vehicles and medical stuff).

We have a larger motor home that would double as our residence for 2-3 months while made some decisions on an area to put down roots.  

Be the landlord. learn the business from a first hand perspective (although it sounds like you are going to be a rehaber/flipper since you have the motor skills to do it).  

If it was a single family home renting to students I might have them handle the lawn, and provide a push mower- the type with the blades driven by the wheels and no motor.  

@Ryan Smith - anyone who's in the investing or "associated trades" businesses are good to ask - Contractors, Printers, even Motor Mechanics who fix the realtors auto's may have had a chat with these guys in the past.Look for the properties for sale in your local "Investor" area's, and take down a few names from the "For Sale" signs.Try also checking the St Louis Realtors, not too far away from you I think?
