Now that everyone should have a prenup and you'll get divorced scenario is out of the way so she/you should cover yourself is covered I'll answer as if this was me in her shoes. 

@Isaiah Cuellar since you're pretty young, if I were in your shoes, I'd be more inclined to build up a portfolio of multiple properties instead of paying off one property fast.The reason being: one property doesn't produce that much cashflow (even if it's paid off).  

I was in your same shoes about 5-6 years ago. 

I’ll reserve final judgment when all the deals exit, but for now I feel that I’m waiting for shoes to drop.

CRE is about the long haul, I'd say much more than 3 years. 3 years i barely could tie my shoes.

There are likely more questions I have and more clarity I can provide if you have questions for me, so I wanted to make my first post something thorough that would hopefully gather some experienced eyes and maybe even resonate with others who are in my shoes in the same or other markets.
