Was your QOZB designed for a specific state/city, or was it structured to operate more nationally?

When looking for cash flowing markets.. a lot of investors, including myself, are looking in cities like Cleveland.

I found that cities with expanding industries tend to have a steady demand for rentals and potential for property appreciation down the road.

So you get to deal with that for the next 5 years while the city, the county, the state, the federal government, and all the political wannabes get all the enviornmental issues sorted out.Of course there are and will be exceptions of properties in between those two situations, but not everyone and maybe even a small fraction will probably try to solve their problem based on the law you quote.That is my guess. 

Thirty years ago I started purchasing and living in properties in upcoming inner city neighborhoods that required renovation.

Are you targeting your local market/city? 

I’ve lived here my whole life and worked hard to buy a house in my parents' neighborhood, which is the most sought-after area in the city.

I would check with your insurance agent and the city.

I am 99% sure its not an issue, there are other STRs within city limits and so is my property.
