I'm blown away that you are investing in NZ, Australia and the US!

I'm in Australia and I really really hate this place, The ' Goal ' of Moving to America is both hard if not impossible to do legally.Granted I'm sure there's special Exceptions for billionaire investors, but not for starting out Aussies.Regardless gotta keep a positive mindset, I've done enough schooling to apply for the lotto so its in Gods hands now.

My husband and I lived in the Indy area prior to relocating to Australia in 2009 (we both have US citizenship) and decided that since we know the Indy area (mostly suburbs, not so great on the city itself) and we have a trusted contact that is doing PM for us, we would start here.  

Reminds me of a home we had in Australia where the inside had an in-ground pool but open to the elements, it was gorgeous & all the bedrooms opened to it.

I currently live in Sydney, Australia (I am an architect) and I am surprised to hear all the time from US property investors that they need to replace a roof.

Jay is absolutely right, 750k is super cheap here in Sydney, rental return of about 5% anywhere in Australia would be considered sensational.

Owning 12 rental properties all fully occupied through out the year in Cairns Australia.

I'll be adding another credit line here in a month or two when I ask AMEX to transfer my acct from Australia to the US (they have a service where they use your credit in a foreign country to help your application in the US).Just wanted to thank all those who helped me by replying to my original post :)
