Thank you for responding, i have my house, but with everything getting so expensive taxes and insurance among other things i would like to ad an addition like a studio.

And you could probably still rent it out for $1500-$1800 a month.When we lived in Burbank, California, we rented out our 300 square-foot studio guest house for $1500 a month.

We're seeing lots of growth here in terms of population, job market, and major companies building and developing here like Intel, Google, Meta, Amazon, etc.

I purchased an SFR in Sacramento, it's currently a studio over a 3 car garage.  

There are also many significant businesses coming to the area or expanding, including TSMC, Intel, Amazon, Apple, etc. 

There is also a building that was previously used as a recording studio with a half bath (that isn’t currently functional).It needs some work.

The macroeconomics in Columbus is booming because of the growing population and strong job market brought by a lot of companies moving and building out here like Intel, Amazon, Google, Meta, etc. 

Security cameras like those on Amazon are useful and can act as a deterrent.

@J Scott I have The Book on Estimating  Rehab Costs ( important read); but I'm not sure where the digital resources are and I looked through the book; but I'm not seeing any reference.I see I purchased it off Amazon, if that is the difference.
