So if I purchase a home in my name but then am using it as an investment rental property, can I run the mortgage on the home through the business as an expense?

Those are prices I am used to seeing in Cincinnati, but now that I am out here I may have to adjust to the market because I haven’t found any in that price range yet.

.- I know when you sell a house you take title to, the title company generates a 1099-S, and that sales amount will need to match a gross figure on a tax return (e.g. an install sale amount, a sales amount on the Schedule D, etc)- However a new title company I am using, when it comes to assigning a contract or wholesaling a house (AKA I take a fee like a commission, and DO NOT not close on the property), is issuing 1099 MISC forms for every single assignment transaction.

I am doing something similar in Houston, but I am using a company called PadSplit.

I am finding it to be pretty accurate for the areas I am using it for.

While I was looking through their blog posts, I saw that they are affiliated with a company called WealthFit and I am using their free trial subscription.

@Idara Udofia amusingly enough, the cheap and reliable landscaper I used for snow removal is no longer doing snow removal this season as it "wasn't worth it"!

BTW--I am using the service through BP.

I am using pricelabs but going under what they recommend.
