Hi, yes, kind of, once you divide utilities as mentioned, you have some compliance issues to deal with, evemn compliance issues that won't really pertain to you as dividing a garden hose with a meter on it.

You can't just say "meh, I think I'll just garden today instead of work!".

The property is off of Garden of the Gods, west of I25 so it is in the burbs.

My hunch is that if they are already trying to customize a property that isn't theirs, perhaps they are unclear on the concept.A few years back I had a tenant that asked if they could put in a garden.

I was thinking mostly rocks with some succulents (native for San Diego area!).

I want to build some small multi-families (this is rural but educated South; I want to build old-style garden apartment buildings, 4-12 units) but haven't yet done the research on how to make them financially viable.
