I still need to figure out which type of loan would less picky with the home inspection, like I said the 3rd zone needs a ton of restoration and I'm not sure if it's even liveable.

I hear a lot of talk about how "gentrification" is a bad thing, but what I see is a person or persons with money investing in a neglected community and repairing/restoring homes and businesses.

The owner of the building is a linesman and travels to areas affected by natural disasters to restore power etc.

It is always nice to make the contact even if it as an apology and just explain you are trying to help the local community with getting vacant properties restored and it will only help the city! 

I had a fire restoration project and good licensed contractor friends, so it worked out well for me.

Our PMs maintenance team is really great as far as PM maintenance teams go but the standard for PM maintenance teams is extremely low in my professional experience as a lifelong carpenter doing restorations and high end fine carpentry, you’re not gonna find that level of quality on a budget that works with rentals but that’s what I bring to the table.

We're also *hoping* we can restore the front porch back to it's original condition (a small rocking chair porch, no screens or doors, and spindles where the lower siding is).  

She and I have been working closely together to restore the association and upgrade the building.  

Something broken can take value away from a home, but repairing it will not gain value, just restore it.

Walking around this area it's clear to see that the city is investing - new bus lines, new businesses, some nicely restored historic buildings.
