I think when I've used the term 'earth' home or 'bermed' home, lenders envision it being made out of either recycled materials or earth.

YOu can get the appraisal and all but that google earth tool I think would be an integral part of your personal underwriting process since you can't be there.. you can google the comps and double check like your saying.

Once you find a cluster, and get an idea of the style, you can scan on Google Earth to find others.I'd try public records to try to get owners names.

Because of the historic difficulty in locating property on the internet without and Postal address we developed a site (free limited use) called parcelfact.com This will get you to a point where you can produce good quality maps and pictures from Google Earth etc.
