If you have to remove the old linoleum tiles in some places to make it even, i found the easiest way to remove stubborn glue is to iron the tiles.

This property (3 bedrooms, 2 bath) has a sewer line (cast iron) break up under the foundation and I am planning to get a re-route the complete plumbing underneath.

Are the walls plaster lathe, sheetrock, are waste lines cast iron, PVC, do you have toilets with tanks or flushometers?

This was kind of ironic to me since my initial concern w the cameras was invasion of privacy for the other tenants via her requests. lol. 

This will cost you money , legit contractors have almost iron clad contracts .

The most important - in terms of not only cost, but hassle:Foundation - Meaning slab or raised foundationStructure - Referring to framing issues....beams, headers, joists, cut trusses, etcPlumbing - in particular Cast Iron used for sewer.

Ironically, the bigger the deal, the less likely you need to be present for any closing.
