Things work, but inspectors so far recommend replacing things.Tomorrow, I will have a different electrician and plumber from Mend Services look at the house's electrical and plumbing system.

Karen,Being a chef myself (not a professional or anything) in addition to a high end rehab flipper, the gas selection is a no brainer, electric stoves suck for cooking in my opinion and any chef worth his salt would agree gas the the best choice.

I actually mounted my tv in our new house above a wood burning stove which cranks out the heat.

This one just came in yesterday - The cabinet over the stove is too low to install a microwave and the cabinet over the fridge area is 5' 9" and not 6'.

You have to have running water, working plumbing, doors that lock, a heat source, a stove, no adverse conditions that would be harmful to health (mold, vermin, etc.) 

(compost toilet, gas stoves, etc). 

We have no stove, no access to our fridge, and our kitchen is absolutely loaded with mold. 

What many people do is get around having 2 kitchens by having a wetbar with a sink and fridge then after inspection passes give the tenants a stove top or hot plate.  

Heating and cooling will be accomplished through wood stoves (we have 5.5 acres of woods), ductless minisplits, and hydronic radiant heating.

There was one wall that had a wood stove pipe hole in it through the concrete foundation and it was already stuffed with insulation.
