What qualifies a home as "uninhabitable" for ALE?
We had a hot water pipe burst under our kitchen sink recently, and it affected only our kitchen and half bath attached to it. Our kitchen is now gutted to the studs, and is in the process of having the subfloor removed. We have no stove, no access to our fridge, and our kitchen is absolutely loaded with mold.
Does this qualify as "uninhabitable" for ALE purposes? We would like to stay out of the house for the duration of construction as I have allergen related asthma issues. Is this a realistic expectation?
