All right I know this is an old thread but I'm going to go ahead and put my two cents in. as a wholesaler I have two answers to this situation the first one being, if it's a new relationship and you've never done a deal with this wholesaler before absolutely not. there's no trust and there's no history. however, if you've closed multiple deals with this person and they have always been honest and they request it in advance not demand. well use your better judgement.
