The culture shock is huge. 

I'm excited to see how WFH culture changes and grows the STR industry here in WA and elsewhere...

Here in Seattle, Floating Homes have been a part of Seattle Culture (Sleepless in Seattle and many more films feature them!)

My current narrative is "my wife and I are moving to Tucson where I plan to drive for Uber, take some real estate courses, and enjoy the outstanding Native American traditional and contemporary art scenes in Arizona and just see what happens."  

As others have stated, it truly depends on location, culture at the apartment community, market trends in the area, etc.Class C properties typically offer a clear upside with the right business plan.

@Cody Barna It's a no brainer for restaurants, since Yuma have a great diversity of cultures which drives so many different styles of food!

The Govt and culture of those days was much different and not so frightening to have a 'temporary' Govt overreach.

Pretty well sums up the culture of TX and Houston area.

Seems to me it's possible to create cool, fun, cultural areas and support local business while doing it.

My guess is that, even though the post is directed at no one in particular, some people aren't solid on their investment strategy or knowledge so they interpret the post to be about them.The even weirder part is actually real-life Bro culture to a tee.
