Seaside does have quite a few family vacationers but by the boardwalk at night it becomes teen/ 20 year olds scene, it's kinda known as a party town.

In addition to vacationers, you can cater to corporate clientele, work with staffing companies which ultimately allows for consistent cash flow, house military personnel etc.

But other than that, the area for most months is busy with skiers, hikers, kayakers, motorcyclists, hunters, and vacationers. 

One concern is the extra bump up in prices this last 6-12 months, but that is everywhere I guess and there have been some mixed reviews in all these communities it seems (even WaW), such as large groups of vacationers partying very late at night, issues with parking, and issues with trash.

As a vacationer everyone hates resort fees anywhere they stay.
