Sarasota south is more of the tropical feel.

We live in a gorgeous place, have a luxury villa project and our own real estate agency, working in a market that is considered to be the fastest growing one in all Latin America.I wanted to hear from other people who have moved from big western cities to tropical countries to chase their dream.

The federally declared disaster areas include hurricane and tropical storm victims in Georgia, Florida, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands and parts of Texas, Louisiana and South Carolina, as well as wildfire victims in parts of California.

In this tropical mountain area, coffee is grown all over the place.

One thing no one has mentioned is that if the street/neighborhood happens to get hit hard by flooding, tropical storms, tornadoes, brushfires etc. you could be screwed, at least temporarily.

I'm part of tropical REIA that meets in boynton beach, but there are ones in Boca, West Palm and Broward as well.Additionally, there is a group of us that meetup the first Saturday of every month in Delray to talk real estate.  

Sort of like having a discussion with Eskimos about tropical fruits.
