Since you already have an offer, it’s not really about whether the property will sit for six months, it’s about whether keeping it makes financial sense.

For example, the insurance company offers you $100k.

They are asking $375K but not getting it - so not quite $20k underwater from asking but they're offers so far are around $350k and lower.

However, many sellers will not accept an offer subject to an appraisal. 

Make the offer appealing by highlighting the short-term ROI from his renovation expertise and potential profit-sharing during the partnership.

However, I read some bad reviews about them. 10% service fee from landlord, plus 8% from tenants.

We stay in contact with this agent and I guess she made a couple of verbal offers for us after the agreement had expired.
