I have to admit the idea of OOS investing is a little intimidating for my first property, but your encouragement might be just what I needed to get over that self-limiting belief. 

A good PM can assist with initial analysis and either help you buy or knows someone who can help you buy.

In my case, I have residential rentals in one LLC, commercial properties in another, self storage in a third, and my real estate company operates in a fourth.

The property is in the Jade District if anyone has particular insight on the area.4) I have some contacts for real estate agents, but I feel like they're better suited to assisting buying and selling SFR. 

I’m also looking into self-settled spendthrift trusts to add an extra layer of protection, especially as my portfolio grows.
