There is pretty land there and there is very rugged, steep, unusable land there, with the latter being more prevalent.

The age old mistake of saying " well I'd live there " is not as prevalent.

This problem is far more prevalent with commercial brokers than residential. 

This includes not paying rent, a violation of the lease, interfering with other tenants' or neighbors' quiet enjoyment, damaging the property, using the rental for illegal purposes, and a few other less prevalent reasons.In your situation for the case of eviction due to interfering with quiet enjoyment, you may need to send at least one notice to cure or quit and then get multiple police reports and statements from neighbors.

Landlord tenant law is heavily skewed, taxes are high, drug use is prevalent, the buildings are OLD, and it can be a pain in the *** to find tenants.

I'm amazed by the "liar, liar pants on fire" that is prevalent in these transactions in part because the buyer never did a Final Walk of the property right before the closing.

If the problem of the wrong guy owning it were prevalent and not rare and hit and miss - then someone would notice it missing in their books.

I am sure that there are scammers out there, and they may even be prevalent.
